module 6 video review

1. I never realized how many different textures and material can be used to make sculptures(piece of art). What really caught my eye was the limestone carving from Italy. The methods they used back in the day and the methods today are very different but are used to have the same results. The buildings they made from these carvings are immense. Glass making is what is the most impressive to me. My family owns many of these pieces of art and to this day I am still amused by them and how they were made. The art of making glass making is very hard process and possess someone with a steady and focused hand.

2. These videos give a further insight on the process of sculptures, glass making and different artworks. The text describes the material and how it is used to make certain artworks with all these different materials. These videos demonstrate the process of how the artwork is made. Going through the steps and history of the material and artwork. Both resources, text and videos, are very insightful and give you better understanding of the process, material and final artwork.

3. I believe the videos were very helpful on giving history and background information on the material and artwork. I believe this helps better understand the process artists going through to create their wonderful pieces of art. It shows the process of getting the material, creating/installing the artwork and the final piece. Its not just a one day thing, these pieces of art go through many thoughts and planning types before they are experimented then created.
